PCMS A boys

The PCMS A Team boys are dismissed at 2:20 today for their playoff basketball game in Dexter. The PCMS A Team girls are dismissed at 2:30 for the same bus departure.

Sad Day for Patriots fans and a good day for Broncos and Panthers fans.

Great job to all who were involved in the Aliza Jean Fill the Gym night. We had a packed house and raised over 1800.00 dollars for the cause and scored a big win for the girls team!

This event is a fundraiser for the Eliza Jean Foundation and the proceeds tonight all go to that Charity. This is a great event for our school community and we hope to see you all there tonight to support our girls and the cause.

Good luck to our Girls Basketball Teams tonight as they take on Greenville here at home. 5:30 and 7:00 am

Good luck also to the Boys JV and Varsity Teams as they travel to Dexter for their contest tonight.

The rescheduled Dine and Discuss is happening tonight from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. The theme this evening is on College and Career Readiness. Participants will have an opportunity to hear about college admissions and the financial aid process (FAFSA) as well as what is needed for getting prepared for post high school experiences. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

The Library will be closed today for a MLTI Math workshop. That means that Mrs. Lello's period 3 class needs to report to Mrs. Rowe's room.

The Wrestling meet that was scheduled for yesterday is rescheduled for today. Same departure time.

A reminder to students that if you want to bring your snowmobile to school you need to clear that through the office.

There is a quick faculty meeting right after school tonight.

Any senior ho wants to have a personal meeting with an expert on filling out the FAFSA needs to sign up in the guidance office. The expert will be here on January 19 and January 22.

PCHS Wrestling

Congratulations to the PCHS wrestlers on their results this weekend at the tournament in Dexter.  As a team they were 12-11 in overall matches.  Ethan Moulton, Zac Wilson and Billy Griffith all finished third in their weight classes while Ethan Cooley placed first in his weight class.  Good luck on Wednesday at Foxcroft Academy.

Good Luck to the Boys Varsity Basketball Team as they tale on George Stevens here at Home at 6:00 pm.

Also Good Luck to our middle school A and B teams as they take on warsaw tonight. A plays home and B plays away.

Due to the fire at TCTC over the weekend TCTC classes have been suspended until they can get their building in order. A student who has TCTC has the option of staying home on their TCTC day or coming to school and spending the day in the Library doing school work.

Great Job to the Lady Pirate BBall teams last night for the two outstanding games vs Schenck. Both JV and Varsity came out with wins and the Varsity game was quite the squeaker until late in the game.

Great job to the PCHS pep Band last night as well with their display of great range and melody.

Congratulations to the PCHS wrestling team on their impressive showing last night.  They were 2-1 defeating Washington Academy 39-24, and defending state champions Ellsworth 35-24, and losing to Bucksport 41-24.

Wrestling Results

Congratulations to the PCHS wrestling team on their team record at Saturday's meet in Bucksport.  The Pirates went 4-1, defeating PVHS 36 to 24, Woodland 42 to 22, Caribou 42 to 36, and Mattanawcook 39 to 36 and losing to Medomak 36 to 30.  Good luck on Wednesday here at PCHS, please come support your wrestlers.
