Senior Meeting make up
Any senior that missed the senior meeting before April break is REQUIRED to show up at the make up meeting on May 7 during homeroom. This meeting is extremely important to provide information about graduation and the expectations for the event. If you attended our meeting at the masonic hall on April 15 you do not need to attend.

4/28 announcements
On Sunday, April 26th, 6 of the 18 middle school Civil Rights Team members traveled to Bangor to "Walk for Autism." They walked 1.2 miles around the UMA campus, discovered to be well over 1,000 steps, as counted by Macee. The team raised $200 for the cause and had a great time!

Have you ordered your yearbook yet? There are only 49 yearbooks left, if you would like a yearbook please fill out the form on the bulletin board outside of the cafeteria and give it to Mrs.MacNeil along with a small deposit. 7th and 8th graders you are included in this years yearbook in a small section at the end of the book, you to can order an unpersonalized yearbook for $45. Yearbooks will be given out the first of June. All yearbooks not spoken for at that time will be available for sale, seniors first. Any additional questions feel free to contact Mrs. MacNeil.

The math team had a great state meet this year! Last year we came in last in our division and this year we beat 6 teams placing in 19 out of 26! The team scored 67 points! The top scorer for the pirates was Maryia Chaykina with 18 points placing in 156th out of 283 juniors. Lena Downes places 66th out of 121 freshmen with 11 points and our top senior scorer was Caitlin Hession with 15 points placing 226 out of 323 seniors at the meet! Great job pirates!

Good Luck to our Mathletes Team today as they travel to the Cross Center in Bangor for the State High School Math Meet.
We are starting testing in the middle school wing this morning and we ask that folks are quiet if around any of these rooms. Just a reminder to students that this test is important and will be a part of your permanent record. It also helps to give our school feedback on where we need to improve our curriculum and instruction. Please take this test seriously but also understand that since this the first time using this technology, we need people to be patient and for students not to worry about their performance.
Tomorrow, all grades will be testing from 8:00 to 1:00. Please get a great night sleep and be ready to do your best tomorrow.
Library will be closed until lunch time today due to testing.
Seniors we are meeting at the Masonic Lodge in Guilford at 9:00 am. We can either walk over together or you are more than welcome to drive and meet us there.

Reminder to seniors involved with project graduation, there is a bottle drive being held this Saturday, April 11th. it will be at the Davis/Northup garage in Parkman starting at 9 AM. Please plan on helping out, if you do well on this fundraiser, it may be your last one you have to do for your trip.
