Welcome back from your weekend! I hope you all got a chance to visit the Piscataquis County Fair.
Open House tonight !!!!!!! BBQ starting at 5:30 pm.
IPAD Boot camp Begins today for 7th and 8th grade!! We would like to welcome our visitors from MLTI who are here to help out with Boot Camp.
Flag Football sign ups are in the office.
Don't forget your parking permits!!
Senior meeting in the senior lounge tomorrow at 8:00 am

1) Please sign up to be part of the 7-12 yearbook staff. Sign up form on the bulletin board outside the cafe. Advantages to joining the yearbook staff include learning more about graphic design, letters of reference and activites for your college applications, and being involved in your school community!
2) The 2016 Pirate Pride yearbook cover contest has begun. Design a cover on a regular sized piece of paper in any medium you like; ink, watercolors, markers. Submit to Mrs. MacNeil by Sept. 18th and you could win a free yearbook, a $25 gas card, and the honor of being our yearbook cover designer! --

Girls soccer results
Last night the girls varsity soccer team had a convincing 3-1 win over Schenck. The Pirates were led by freshmen Alivia's two goals and Sophomore Erin Speed's goal. Lucinda Wingert assisted on one of the goals. Haylee Patterson and Alivia Hunt shared duties in net. This was a total team effort.

Happy Friday everyone!!
We survived our first week with all the new things happening at PCSS.
The following Students need to come to the office.
Good luck to the field Hockey team in their scrimmage today
Power School Is down this morning so we will forgo taking attendance until it resumes functionality. When that happens we will let teachers know to take attendance immediately. In light of this SNAFU we will be postponing our first evacuation drill until Monday.
Great Job to the soccer teams last night in the pre season matchups.
Today was the deadline for getting paperwork in!!! If you missed this deadline you need to tie a string on your finger over the weekend and make sure it is in on Monday.
Boys won 5-1 and the girls team
Lunch today is Assorted Sandwiches

Today is a Blue 2 day - Advisory
WELCOME BACK FOR YOUR SECOND DAY!!! We made it through the first day pretty well and everyone has shown a great positive attitude. I am OPTIMISTIC for the success of the upcoming school year.
A couple things that we did not talk about yesterday that students need to know. Anyone driving to school needs to pick up a permit for their vehicle in the office.
We will be having an evacuation drill on Friday
All paperwork needs to be back by Friday
Lunch today is Pizza
Our patience will achieve more than our force.
